Jennifer was Sooner born and Sooner bred in Norman, Okla. She attended Norman High School, where she spent most of her time as a computer nerd disguised as a cheerleader. After graduating in 1998, she moved into the freshmen dorms at the University of Oklahoma. In her time at OU, she pledged Delta Gamma, headed up the college newspaper and earned degrees in journalism and political science.
In fall 2002, she moved to New York to pursue a master's in journalism at Columbia University. After a short stint as a news editor in Muskogee, Okla., Jennifer landed a job as an editor and occasional writer at The Wall Street Journal Online in Lower Manhattan.
Jennifer's family lives in the same house where she grew up. Her parents are Glen and Debbie. Her brother is Greg.
